J. Stevens A&T Co. 22 cal. Model 1894 (pre” Favorite”) w/ Marbles "Simplex" tang sight.
22" original Octagon to round barrel, with original barrel sights and an added "Marbles" tang sight.
Amazing condition for over 100 years old.
Most of these "Favorites" were a young boys first rifle and not most did not survive in this contition.
I believe this was set up many years ago with the tang sight for longer shots.
Bore also is in excellent condition as is the rest of it. Made between 1894 and 1915.
Action is tight, and the lever locks up tight as it should.
