#1354A BLICKENSDOERFER PERCUSSION TARGET RIFLE, 44 cal., 32” oct. bbl., probably John Blickensdoerfer who was in business from 1863-1874, in mint condition, mint bore, DST, bbl. is 1 5/16 outside diameter, fancy spur trigger guard, deep casehardened steel crescent buttplate, fancy vernier tang sight adjustable for elevation only, pinhead globed front sight, casehardened lock hammer & upper tang, 95% casehardening, 95% browning on the bbl., mint wood with fancy clam shell design in forward part of forend, cheek rest with 99% oil finish, real clean target rifle made by one of the better gun makers of St. Louis, MO, made during the time when percussion rifles reached Zenith as far as quality. $5000
