Description:
This is a super cool little item. It has a 3 1/2 inch folding knife blade that is marked BREVETE S.G.D.G. as well as S.B. Blade has been sharpened and shows use. It is also a revolver with a 2 1/4 inch octagon barrel and folding trigger. The whole gun retains a pleasing patina with some light rust and pitting. Not in working order, needs mechanical attention. Not sure if the grips are wood or horn, missing a pin on the left side and there is a replacement screw. Looks like it probably had a escutcheon plate on the left side as well which is missing. With the blade closed, it is 5 1/2 inches long. Made sometime in the mid to late 1800's. The loaading gate catch spring needs to be replaced. All in all, a really neat gun that needs some help, but should come out nicely.
