Bore is bright with light frosting present. Metal surfaces have developed a brown patina with areas of light oxidation. Features the 1877 pattern updates, including the three-notch tumbler, shortened and thicker wrist, and 1877-style rear sight. The lock plate retains the original “1873" marking, typical of early transitional examples. Stock has been refurbished and varnished, with a faint, illegible cartouche still visible.
