Description:
This is a Winchester 88 manufactured in 1961. The original blued finish still bears a mirror polish and looks great. High wear areas were touched up. The wood stock was heavily worn and cracked in the usual spot that Winchester 88s crack, right above the trigger. The crack was bonded tightly together. Steal epoxy bedding was added to prevent any future cracking. The original finish was stripped, flush QD cups were inlaid in the stock to replace the missing sling studs, the wood was stained and refinished with Tru Oil. It looks great ????&n
3|/> The scope is a 1960s Bushnell 3200 Elite, top of the line in its day and still has better optics than some new scopes today. Scope has been sighted in at 100 with PMC bronze 147grn. The rifle shoots surprisingly well.
This rifle has been taking game for decades and is ready to get back in the field.
