The Winchester Model 70 Sporter is a traditional-style bolt action sporting rifle with polished metal surfaces. The Sporter features a satin finish grade I cut checkered walnut stock with deluxe cheekpiece Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and sling swivel studs. It additionally features a forged steel receiver with bedded recoil lug cold hammer forged free-floated barrel with recessed target crown pre-1964 style controlled round feed claw extractor blade-type ejector and three position safety. The Sporter has a M.O.A. trigger system to eliminate creep and overtravel.
