Description: Antique Winchester 1886 lever action rifle, 40-82 WCF. 26" round barrel, blue/case hardened, walnut stock, serial #17713. Manufactured 1888. Bore is mostly bright with some strong rifling and light pitting. Very good condition, retaining some of the original finishes in protected regions with the balance thinned to a mostly brown patina along with a replacement bolt, some light edge silvering, scattered minor patches of spotting/freckling, and scattered minor handling marks. The furniture is fine as sanded and re-oiled with some light compression marks. Mechanically excellent.
