Description:
This is an outstanding exampe of the rare French Mle. 1917 RSC 8mm Lebel semi-auto rifle. Late style knurled steel cocking knob. MA S 1918, double stamped, on the barrel. July 1918 dated stock cartouche. Matching numbers, with the exception of the stock (which is about 535 numbers away). Last style bolt hold open device. Retains 95% original blue overall. Receiver is marked on the left side: MANUFACTURES NATIONALES MA.S MLE 1917. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. We have not disassembled this gun. We have not fired this item. From what we can tell, this gun still retains the original gas block, which means it's in the original semi-auto configuration. Stocks have dings and sratches, there is a hairline crack in the forend by the gas port on the right side (hard to see in picture as there is a scrape there too, but we did our best, it's solid). Fine mechanical function. Not import marked. Serial number is F83383

FFL or C&R license required

Buyer pays $200 shipping CONUS, including full insurance and tracking. AK & HI are extra.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, checks, and money orders. ALL CARD PURCHASES ARE SUBJECT TO AN ADDITIONAL 3% CHARGE. Unfortunately we no longer offer lay-away, AT ALL. FULL payment is to be received within 10 days. We make no warranties or guarantees as to the fire-ability or safety of doing so on any of these items.  Firearms are not test fired, however we do test the action to see if it functions properly for a dry fire. We do not put any ammo in it or disassemble to check internal parts. We will sometimes take off barrels or stocks in an attempt to prevent damage in shipping. We only sell used guns, and have no way to know how many rounds have been through them.  WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. ALL FIREARMS, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR FEDERAL ANTIQUE STATUS have to be shipped to a dealer for transfer within NY. Other states are fine, depending on your state laws. We will not ship to a New York, NJ, or CA C&R holder, a standard FFL is required.  There are some states in which a C&R handgun MUST be shipped to a dealer, such as MD. Please know your local laws. We are not going to risk OUR livelihood. WE DO NOT OFFER ANY IN STORE PICK UP, EVERYTHING WILL BE SHIPPED.
