This listing is for a Ruger New Vaquero chambered in .45 Long Colt with a 5.5\" barrel and lovely case hardened finish! Based on the classic Colt Single Action Army revolver but with a few updates and modernizations, the Ruger New Vaquero has been a favorite of cowboy action shooters since its release. This particular example sports a classic blued finish on the barrel, cylinder, and grip frame with an eye-catching color case hardened finish on the cylinder frame. The transfer bar safely works as intended, and opening the loading gate allows the cylinder to spin freely or loading or unloading. The hammer only has two positions (down and fully cocked), and the single action trigger pull is light and crisp. Some expected wear is visible on the cylinder, with some very small blemishes elsewhere on the gun. This is a great looking and feeling Single Action Army style revolver for any of your competition, reenacting, or plinking needs!
