Marlin semi-automatic rifle that is fit with a 22 inch blued round steel barrel employing Marlin's Micro-Groove rifling that is chambered for the .22 L.R. cartridge. Barrel is built with an adjustable open sporting rear sight and a ramped blade front sight. Left side of the barrel is roll marked "THE MARLIN FIREARMS CO. NORTH HAVEN, CT, U.S.A./ MODEL 60 MICROGROOVE BARREL CAL.22 L.R. ONLY" Right side barrel marked with warnings. The polished blued receiver is fit with a cross-bolt safety, is grooved for scope mounts which this rifle a BSA Optics 4x32 Special Series rimfire scope is mounted and the left side of the frame is marked with the rifle's serial number. The rifle is equipped with a tubular magazine. The smooth hardwood stock with pistol hand grip has a Monte-Carlo comb,13-9/16" length of pull to a checkered plastic buttplate. 5 Lbs. - 9 Oz. without scope and 6 Lbs. - 5 Oz. with scope.
