Description:
This is an original WWII lithograph poster featuring a worker holding a large wrench above the words "YOUR HEALTH IS CANADA'S STRENGTH". It was issued by the Department of Pensions and National Health which became the Department of National Health and Welfare in 1944. It measures 24" x 36" and is folded into 8 panels measuring 9" x 12" . In excellent condition the image appear crisp with bright colors. There is a tiny bit of creasing along the edge with writing on the back. An overall excellent example of these WWII health campaign posters issued by the National Film Board in Ottawa.
