Description:
Serial #222074, .44 Caliber Black Powder Percussion, 8 inch barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the limited production Colt 1860 Army Gold Cavalry revolver featuring gold inlay bands around the muzzle along with a gold plated cylinder and grip frame with special graphics to commemorate the Civil War army Cavalry with cross swords below "U.S." and above "1860" on either side of the cylinder. The high polished commemorative also features color case-hardened loading lever, frame and hammer. In unfired condition there is a slight scratch on the barrel just left of the front sight but is otherwise excellent showing only faint handling marks and a hint of a turn marks on the cylinder. The grips rate excellent plus. It comes in a blue velvet lined Colt display case with Signature Series powder flask, bullet mold, combination tool and cap tin which are all in excellent condition. The case shows some mild scratches on the top and is missing the key. The original manual is present. A beautiful Signature Series cased set with an increasingly difficult to find Gold Cavalry edition revolver. Antique.
