32905- CIVIL WAR ROGERS & SPENCER U.S. ARMY PERCUSSION .44 CAL. REVOLVER. Union Ordnance department contract for 5000 revolvers makes one of the scarcest of the Civil War. Six-shot with 7 ½” octagon barrel. Top strap stamped “ROGERS & SPENCER/UTICA, N.Y.”. Ordnance inspector’s stamps on major parts. Grips with Ordnance cartouche and letters “W.H.” over top. All original and matching in tight working order. Good nipples and very good bore. Grey patina with minor light salt and peppering. Excellent grips. Hard to find Civil War Union Cavalry revolver. $1400.
