All original as issued and matching and excellent plus to near mint with 99% of the early dark Parkerized metal finish and the matching wood with all the original finish as well. Ordnance inspector’s “P” proof in a circle behind trigger guard and “D” sub-Inspector’s stamp on side panel. Barrel stamped and dated behind front sight “S A/ORDNANCE BOMB/10-18”. Perfect working order and good bore with well defined rifling. Scarce unaltered WW1 Springfield 1903. Original WW1 leather U.S. Model 1903 sling. $3400.
