Description:
.50 Alaskan 15" including removable fish gill muzzle break to remove 85% of recoil. The  removable break can then be easliy cleaned in a ultrasonic cleaner or tank. 1 inch bull barrel 1-20" twist. 0 rounds down barrel. This Original Thompson Center Encore stainless receiver. This can be seen on the bottom of receiver just ahead of trigger guard stamped into frame if it was. with  original hinge pin in very great condition. Trigger is 2.5 pounds by Stratton Custom Hurricane Utah.
This receiver is not made by Smith & Wesson OR new owner of TC.

Leupold stainless DD 1 piece base with 1' medium Leupold stainless rings.  Leupold FX-4x28 silver scope with audible clicks NOT friction clicks. Scope has 4 plex reticle and tracks as it should.

This Pro Hunter receiver has the swivel hammer. This is NOT the cheaper fixed hammer version.

T/C grip NOT the Presidential grip. The presidential grip is way too big. Most shooters hands cant wrap there hand around a presidential grip resulting in a scary feeling. THIS makes shooting much more pleasurable and controllable. I have more grips if you want more.

Steve Stratton hanger bar provides 0 strees on walnut wood forend to prevent splintering.

NOT FULL OF AFTERMARKET PARTS SUCH AS OVERSIZED HINGE PIN !

IF IT HAS OVERSIZED PIN, THERE IS A REASON WHY THE HOLE IN FRAME GOT SO LARGE DONT BUY IT !

$50.00 includes price of this ad and shipping from my zip 37642 to your FFL.

I sold 3 of these and 3 Marlin 1895's 45/70 $750-$1000 converted to .50 AKA in the last 5 years. They don't cost me more then $2200 (including cost of  base gun) to covert along with opening up loading gate (if a lever action) & reblue. So why are the .500 linebaugh levers listed for $8,000 ? The 50 alaskan lever shooting with iron sights and no scope to fly off and hit you is basically only a 50 yard shooter.  Sorry no trades.

Attached is my 1st creation which loves to shoot Cutting Edge 400 - 410 grain solids either all copper or all brass. Buffalo Bore has factory loads if you dont reload. Tim Sundles can provide you with factory loads.
But the 400 - 410 grain is where you want to be. I never shot more then a 450 jacketed Buffalo Bore in the encore. In the Marlins I shot 500 grain but accuracy wasn't great.

Payment must be sent another method then USPS even  2-3 priority shipping USPS is the absolutely worst I have seen in 50 + years. It will be simple returned returned in a stamped envelope.

G.B. the other who sells firearms was founded in February 1999. In the year 2000 I was in Vegas Nevada at the S.H.O.T. show. The yearly shooting hunting outdoor trade show. I was an FFL license dealer in Michigan at the time and went to the show along with a partner. Somewhere in the middle of the floor plan I looked forward and saw bikini clad girls sitting on metal tree stand one poles secured to the floor of the arena. Must have ben at least 10 of them. When we approached the booth which was an a entire en of a aisle I looked around for someone to ask the question “who is G.B. ” and there was nobody to answer my question. Still today 25 years later communication has been little to none. takes 8% hope I got that correct ( $2000.00 and a $160.00 fee)  + sales tax for the state the sale takes place. There is 0 real proof that GB actually pays out the sales tax to anyone. Gunsinternational Debra Powell charges $20 dollars for a firearm ad and $4 bucks for a non firearm ad thats it ! So why do sellers choose GB ? guns
