Description:
.44 Henry rimfire, 24" part octagon barrel with the magazine located underneath. Lever action, brass frame with external hammer, Straight grip walnut buttstock with a brass buttplate and trap. In beautiful original condition with the barrel showing blue mixing with an even plum patina and excellent smooth surfaces and sharp edges. Very crisp legend is present on the top of the barrel. Sights are blade front and flip up ladder rear. Lovely mellow brass frame with very sharp edges. Excellent screws. Super wood with only a few minor handling marks and free of repairs or damage. The buttplate mirrors the frame in condition. Very nice bore with sharp rifling. Mechanically excellent. Exceptional rifle.
