Gorgeous Joe Smithson 275 Rigby (7x57 Mauser) right hand bolt action repeater built on a Granite Mountain Arms action. S/N 303KRV.
24” barrel and 8.1 lbs without scope (9.5 lbs w/ scope & rings). It includes a Zeiss Diavari C 3-9x36 T* scope (duplex reticle) in Smithson quick release rings. Murray leather sling. Length of pull is 14”. 4+1 capacity with hinged floorplate. I’m selling this for my friend and client who purchased this rifle brand new from Joe Smithson in 2006. It was featured on the cover of the June/Junly 2007 Sports Afield magazine.
Joe builds less than 10 rifles per year and he builds among the best Safari grade bolt action rifles. It is in great condition – see photos. The bore is clean with sharp rifling.
