Payment Types Accepted: Description: This listing is for a Mauser BYF Model 98 Bolt Action 8mm Caliber Rifle made at Mauser-Werke AG, Oberndorf in 1941. The rifle features a 24" Barrel, wood stock, eagle Waffenamt markings, and import markings, as well as  Russian Capture Markings.The rifle was captured by the Russian army and later refurbished for future use and put into storage. Many were imported into the US a couple of decades ago. The metal was reblued and the stock sanded and refinished. As shown in the pictures the rifle appears as originally refurbished with very little additonal handling marks. The stock is in sound condition and without cracks. The rifle bore is in good condition with strong rifling. The rilfe comes with a front sight guard, not shown in the pictures.
