Description:
This is a single loaded 4 Gauge collector cartridge manufactured by UMC. The paper hull and brass base shell is marked "U.M.C. Co. No 4" and measures 3 7/8 inch long with a diameter of about 1 inch with a tan top wad. It is in excellent condition showing some bulging of the paper around the shot. A massive shotgun shell that will dwarf others in a display of Union Metallic Cartridge Company or general shotgun shell collections that harkens back to the days of market hunting waterfowl guns.
