Description:
A stunning piece from one of England's premier gunmakers, well balanced and feeds like butter.
Plenty of embellishments, too! English scrollwork on the receiver, rear sight, grip cap, and bottom metal. A gold lion on the floorplate, gold leapord on the grip cap, and gold bands on the barrel. The front sight features Westley Richards' typical folding hood. Rear sights are regulated for 100, 200, and 300.
The Swarovski scope is mounted in Alaska Arms Quick Detach rings, which were almost certainly not original to the gun, but are a phenomenal choice for quick detachable rings. The stock features a traditional English shadowlined cheeckpiece, wrap-around checkering, rosewood foreend tip, a single crossbolt, and a leather covered pad.
The metalwork is in near-perfect condition, while the stock has a few minor handling marks and a small crack behind the tang that's been repaired.
