Description:
After the battle of Little Big Horn in July, 1876, the 7th cavalry had to be completely rebuilt from scratch. The first group assembled after this was dubbed "Custer's Avengers". This gun belonged to one of Custer's Avengers. It was modified in a way that the cavalrymen were known to do, and has several "kill marks" going down the right side of the barrel. We have a letter of authenticity from John Kopec (Colt sent us to him to have the gun's history verified). Please feel free to reach out with questions or comments below.
