For sale is a Civil War Era Colt 1851 Navy .36 caliber percussion revolver which was manufactured in 1862. This revolver features the 7.5" barrel, of which the bore is very good and has good rifling. All numbers, including the wedge are matching - 129679 (S). The grips are very good with a nice varnish finish. The cylinder "Navel Engagement" scene is very clear and most likely a re-roll as the cylinder serial number matches the other numbers in style and font. Barrel address is very clear. All actions of the revolver work perfectly. The front sight appears to be an older replacement. This well cared for revolver exhibits a nice matching patina and is a very true example of a Civil War Era 1851 Colt. Please include $50.00 for USPS Priority Shipping and insurance.
