Berlin Lubecker Model K43 semi auto German rifle. Cal 8mm. 21 ½” round barrel. This is a mint all matching numbers RARE late war production (1945) Berlin Lubecker manufactured qve 45 coded K. 43 rifle. All numbers are matching, with the last number of the stock keel being off by one digit, which is a factory error. The stock on this rifle is pristine with very sharp cartouches and a stunning overall look. Rifle has a ZF4 Scope with an early square edged Walther 359 mount for the G/K43 series of rifles. Included are the leather cover with wooden plug and rubber eye cup. Optics are clear and reticle is sharp. Band screw heads DO NOT match suggesting replacement of one. Scope is in overall excellent condition. “QVE” rifles are not particularly common in the US primarily because much of the production went east to fight the Russians in 1945. This is a fantastic example of a late war K. 43 rifle. A very rare, high condition rifle seldom seen in as new condition. This is a rifle for the serious collector. Serial # 9535.
