Description:
This is a very nice Savage 23A Sporter chambered for 22 long rifle bolt action rifle. It has a 23" barrel with a bright bore and appears to have good rifling. Barrel has no apparent rust or pitting and has been wiped with brownish finish possibly Birchwood Casey's plum brown barrel finish. It has a Marbles rear sight and a Lyman front sight. Very nice walnut stock with a schnable forearm. Serial number is 64343 and made between 1923 and 33 and made in Utica,NY. See pictures for condition $425.00 $60.00 insured shipping
