Description:
This Type II Navy Rolling Block rifle is in need of restoration or for parts. The barreled receiver is all there and fully functional. The buttstock is a well fitted, but incorrect replacement (has sling swivel). The forestock is missing 6" slivers on both sides behind forend cap. The bayonet lug is inract. Rear sight appears to be from an 1871 Army Rolling Block. Bore is frosted, but rifling is visible. Should scrub to better. Worthwhile restoration project. $900 + Shipping.
