Description:
Serial #921943, .38 Special, 6" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a 1959-made, single-action match revolver that retains nearly all of the original blue with some slight silvering at the sides of the muzzle, and a mild turn-ring on the rear of the cylinder. The checkered walnut Colt medallion target grips are in fine shape with some minor handling marks around the butt, and some minor flattening of the points on either panel. The lock-up is tight and the action functions flawlessly. The revolver is accompanied by a 2025-dated Colt Factory Letter that confirms the single-action mechanism (listed as "short action"), and gives a shipping date of February 2, 1959, to The Pistol Shop of San Bernardino, CA. It was one of two identical revolvers in the shipment. The trigger is extremely smooth on this gun! This is a splendid .38 caliber target revolver, and is in excellent condition overall. FFL or C&R;
