Gebruder Merkel - Model 147SL, SxS, 16ga. 28" Krupp Steel Barrels Choked .006/.019.
Rare full sidelock 16ga. 28” barrels Krupp steel barrels. Made in 2001. 2 ¾” chamber, automatic ejector, French grade receiver, engraved by their master engraver with scroll, three pheasants and a pointer. On the left and right a fox scene with a trio of quail. Engraving signed by G.R. Double trigger, highly figured straight grip, multi-point checkered stock with original factory butt plate. Gun is new in box with aluminum takedown case. Chokes are .006 and .019. This is one of their highest grade guns and is very seldom seen. Not a boxlock, but a rare sidelock that Merkel made, they were ultra expensive and exclusive. This is not a side plate but a full sidelock. Has all the original wrapping paper, paperwork, and manual with the case.
