Description:
This WWII Production era pistol is a Waffenampt Proofed Type II Fabrique Nationale High Power. It has a fixed, low profile Patridge-style front sight, an adjustable tangent rear sight, a smooth circular trigger, and a skeletonized serrated hammer. It includes black, hard rubber Pachmayr grips and is 7⅞" in overall length. It has Waffenampt Proof marks to the left side of the slide and frame. The marks are difficult to read, but see pictures. The serial number places it as a "non-slotted" backstrap, but with the desirable tangent sight. The left side of the slide is marked "FABRIQUE NATIONALE D'ARMES DE GUERRE, HERSTAL BELGIQUE" and "BROWNING'S PATENT DEPOSE". The bluing is in fair to good condition, with significant thinning overall, and with some light scratching to the left side of the slide. The Pachmayr grips are in good condition, with some marks and handling wear on the raised surfaces. The bore is bright and shiny with rifling intact. It comes with a generic padded soft sided zippered pistol case. 9mm Luger
