Remington 40-X .22 LR repeater. Serial 051937B (matching bolt) has a 24 inch barrel (.665-inch muzzle diameter) with open sights (hooded ramp front with brass-beaded blade, adjustable rear). Features include outstanding walnut, rosewood forend tip and grip cap, and a tuned trigger. No box or papers. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 8.4 pounds and the length-of-pull is 13.25 inches. CONDITION: Likely unfired since factory proof. Bore is pristine. Trigger pull is outstanding. Metal finish at least 99 percent with only ghosted marks of magazine insertion. Wood is 99 percent with minor varnish lift on right side of the forend tip. The price is firm and layaway is available. $10,000 plus shipping.
