Description:
Mcwhorter custom 6.5 Weatherby magnum, 26.5" fluted barrel to end of brake, rifle weights 9.4lbs with scope. Bourden action, wyatt bottom metal, Talley rings, desert lichen paint and a Swarovski 3-18x50P HD. Swarovski scope has a custom turret to match this 6.5 rouund a 4A reticle and bubble level. This is a 6.5 wildcat round that is one of Mcwhorter favroite's created by necking down the 270 Weatherby or necking up the 257 Weatherby. Mcwhorter load tested and made a recipe for this rifle it is as follow Weatherby brass, 140 berger hybrid target bullets, Fed 215 primers, 68.5 gr RL26 shooting 3145 FPS at 71 degrees, OBL 2.887 OAL 3.590. The rifle also shoots a load with N560 and 140 berger VLD equally as well I can send it along with rifle.
