Description:
Serial # K209646, .22 LR, 4 inch pinned round serrated ribbed barrel with a bright, excellent bore manufactured in 1953. This is the K-22 Combat Masterpiece revolver (pre Model 18) manufactured in 1953 featuring combat-style 1/8" Baughman Quick Draw on ramp base front sight, micrometer click rear target sights, short action and counter bored cylinder. In excellent plus condition the barrel, frame and cylinder show virtually all, 97-98% of the original blue finish with a hint of wear at the muzzle and faint turn line and a slight scratch on the left side of the frame. The serrated target trigger and hammer show vivid case-hardened colors. The diamond around screw escutcheon checkered walnut S&W monogram grips rate excellent. It comes in a non-matching but correct blue Cardboard S&W box. A beautiful early 1950's K-22 Combat Masterpiece that will add to any collection. FFL or C&R
