Description:
Serial #PF 314750, .303 British, 25" barrel with an excellent, bright bore. This is a "1/54"-dated rifle with matching numbered bolt and magazine, manufactured one year prior to the cessation of No. 4 rifle production at Fazakerley. The metal retains 97-98% of the original Suncorite finish, with some minor fading at the muzzle, along the high edges and projections, and on the bearing surfaces of the bolt. The birch forend, handguards and buttstock are in excellent condition with only someminor handling marks, blemishes, and linear scratches present. The forend is numbered to the rifle, and a slightly tarnished brass buttplate is fitted. The rifle is fitted with an adjustable "F" and (Broad Arrow) marked rear sight, and import stamps are present near the muzzle. This is a splendid, post-Korean War No. 4 rifle, and would make a wonderful addition to any collection. FFL or C&R;
