High Original Condition Mauser C78 Zig Zag Revolver in 9mm with Dragon/Heron/Vine motif hard rubber grips. ANTIQUE.
Description:
Standard configuration Mauser C78 Revolver in 9mm with 5.25” barrel having fixed front and rear sights. Solid barrel rib marked with manufacturer, address, and reference to 1878 patent. Crown/C/U proof under barrel. SN 688 on frame lug, rear of fire blued cylinder, and back of release latch. Major components rust blued: fire blued safety lever and cylinder lock; color case hardened hammer and release lever. Molded hard rubber grips with dragon/heron/vine motif. Lanyard ring present.
Condition:
Approximately 95% bright original rust blue with comparable condition fire blue on cylinder, fading on cylinder lock, light freckling on grip straps as imaged. Comparable or better condition grips with minor handling marks but no splits or losses. Bright bore with sharp rifling. Correct manual mechanics. A very attractive all original Mauser C78 Zig Zag revolver with the sought after decorative grips. ANTIQUE.
