Also interested in purchasing ORIGINAL Civil War Confederate weapons for our personal collection. Description: While we're not exactly sure what model this is, it has some similarities to the French 1829 Artillery Carbine in which the ramrod goes way back into the stock, but is actually the full length of the barrel. Could also be a Police model. There isn't much information on Dutch guns that we can find. This gun retains a pleasing patina overall, all markings are sharp and clear. Mix of brass and steel parts. The brass has a pleasing dark patina to it. Missing the barrel band spring from the right side. There is a liip at the rear of the brass nose cap for the rear band. 27 ¾ inch barrel measures to .70 caliber smoothbore. Nice sharp wood cartouches, dated 1847. Fine mechanical function. While we're not positive exactly what this is, it's in really super sharp for its age. ANTIQUE! Buyer pays $45 shipping CONUS, including full insurance and tracking. AK & HI are extra.
