This 1970 Cosmi Deluxe 12-gauge represents the pinnacle of Italian gunmaking—a masterpiece of mechanical ingenuity and hand craftsmanship, enhanced with full ornamental scroll engraving by the renowned Bonsi Brothers.
Built on Cosmi’s extraordinary break-action semi-automatic system, this shotgun offers the versatility to be used as a traditional two-shot or to take full advantage of its ingenious tubular magazine, giving a capacity of 8+1. It features a 27.5" vent-ribbed barrel choked Improved Modified (.033"), brass front bead, a 14.375" LOP to a hand-checkered butt, DAC 1.5", DAH 2.25", and a weight of 8 lbs. 4.1 oz.
Condition is excellent, with only faint handling marks consistent with its age. The bore is mirror bright, the action is smooth and locks up tight, and the trigger is crisp. Mechanically flawless.
The bottom receiver is coin finished and fully adorned with flowing ornamental scroll engraving, signed by the Bonsi Brothers, master engravers of Brescia. The top receiver and barrel retain 98% of their original blued finish. The walnut stock and forend are exhibition grade, with striking figure and sharp checkering on the pistol grip, forend, and butt. Stock has one mark on comb near heel. A right-hand cheek piece adds comfort and control. This would be a perfect driven game shotgun!
