I bought a couple of these beautiful shotguns and decided to let one go to help pay for some unexpected medical bills. I hope my loss will be your gain. This is an absolutely beautiful Remington 870 pump shotgun in the 200th Anniversary (Bicentennial) iteration. I own a lot of 870s dating all the way back to the 1950s and it may be argued that this version may be the best looking of them all! Of all of the 870s I own, this particular version has the most highly polished bluing. You can literally see yourself in the reciever! The wood on this particular specimen I would say is dark which I know many of you like. I took some pictures of the stock outside so you can see that it does have extremely beautiful grain and figure. This gun appears to be unfired but I can't be one hundred percent certain of that because I am not the original owner. I can tell you it will come in its original green box with paperwork and extra chokes, etc. just like new. I looked it over real good and I did find one handling mark on the stock (cheekpiece) that looks like it may have been caused while sitting in a safe. It is very small and you will not even detect it unless you are looking in just the right light and really looking for it. I just wanted to be sure and mention it so that there are no surprises. I tried to capture it in a photo but it doesn't even show up! It's something small but I just like to be as accurate as possible in my descriptions. This is a stunning heirloom piece that I am sure you will enjoy having in your collection just to look at and admire. I never did shoot it, but I sure enjoyed looking at it!
