Description:
For sale we have a Heym model 88B Double Rifle in .470 Nitro Express. This rifle features an oil-finished checkered walnut stock and forend with brown recoil pad, blued steel trigger guard and gripcap, a boxlock action with Greener crossbolt, light scroll engraving, tang safety, double triggers 14-3/4" LOP with intercepting sears and cocking indicators, and 24" barrels with matted rib, automatic ejectors, and 3-leaf express sights. This rifle is in excellent condition with a few light handling marks on the underside of the stock near the toe, and a light spot of missing bluing underneath the forend (not visible when gun is assembled). Lockup is tight, and bores are very clean. Gun has just been regulated at 55 yards with Hornady 500-Grain loads by Ken Owen, who also added a mercury recoil reducer and new recoil pad.
