Description:
1894 Winchester made 1899 Short Rifle. Round barrel 22in long, 8 3/8 forearm , take down with shotgun butt stock smooth butt plate Lyman 21 sight. Rifle has had the receiver reblue at some point. Mag tub is not 3/4 lenth--replaced at some point. Bore is dark with good rifling not bad at all. Over all rifle is a very nice gun. Almost a twin rifle to the example on page 81 of the Winchester 94 book by Robert c Renneburg.
