Sauer 404 Avantgarde chambered in .338 Winchester Magnum. Receiver is steel with silver nitride finish over a game scene featuring a pair of brown bears at the edge of a valley meadow  with a backdrop of foothills and mountain peaks, framed with tasteful German floral scroll across the receiver with balanced negative space throughout. Grip cap and bolt handle ball are upgraded to steel with German floral scroll engraving matched to receiver. Grip cap is also upgraded to steel, showing maker's name/logo. Barrel is matte-blued with gold-inlaid root adjacent to receiver. Bolt head has optional upgrade to titanium nitride (TiN) coating. Stock and forearm are of Wood Grade 9 Turkish walnut with stunning figure and semi-gloss oil finish.

As with all Sauer 404 rifles, this one is compatible with additional calibers through addition of barrels and, when needed, magazine(s) and bolt head(s). Factory quick-detach saddle scope mounts are available. Comes complete in factory upgraded leather case. SGR
