Description:
For the collector who wants the very best!

Made with 30” Bernard Steel damascus barrels. Barrel flats with SN and bottom of barrel tubes stamped with “5”. The wedge fastened forend is checkered in point pattern with triangular ebony tip and lightly engraved iron. Casehardened sidelock receiver is engraved in Grade 5 scroll pattern with punch dot and line border engraving in about 40% coverage. Gun with lightly engraved casehardened hammers and scroll engraved push top lever. Casehardened trigger guard is scroll engraved on bow and at tang between screws. Gun made with double triggers, extractors, no safety. Round knob pistol grip buttstock is checkered in 2 point pattern through the wrist and terminates with its original lightly engraved casehardened full steel buttplate. Buttstock is of particularly nice quarter sawn walnut.

Simply put, this is the finest, all original Graded Remington hammer gun we have seen. Barrels with virtually all of their bold original black and white pattern. Buttstock and forearm are crisp with minor handling marks and retain 95-97% of their original finish. Sidelocks retain virtually all of their original bold case color, as do breech balls, top lever, and hammers. Frame retains vivid original color with beginning toning at carry point. Trigger guard retains about 80% of its smokey original color with crisp engraving. Bores are mostly bright and shiny with some pitting in right bore and a few scattered pits in left. Breech face shows limited shell ring. Gun is tight and crisp throughout. Choice and investment grade in all aspects!

This fine Remington is priced at $6795 plus shipping. If you seek the very best - look no further!!! Please call me at (704) 280-2382 or via PM on this site with any questions or reasonable offers.
