The metal retains about 40-50% of an added gray phosphate finish over light sandblasting, with the balance of the metal worn to a dark, mottled gray patina. All markings are still clear, and the edges are still relatively sharp, although there is quite a lot of silvering along them. The barrel is a much newer, unmarked replacement, and the long spur hammer retains much of the original blue finish. The Colt double diamond wooden grips are in very good shape, with light wear and mild flattening of the points on both panels. A single Springfield Armory lanyard loop magazine with the remnants of an old reblued finish is included. This is a solid mixed parts Model 1911, and is in very good plus condition overall.
