Description: Serial #344358, 12 Gauge, 26 inch solid rib barrels with bright, excellent bores having one tiny surface ding on the left tube about half way down choked about Improved Cylinder and Modified. This is the Lefever Nitro Special SxS shotgun manufactured in 1936. In very fine overall condition the barrels retain about 85-90% of the original blue with scattered spots of freckling, minor scratches and use marks. The frame is mostly plum-brown with traces of the original case-hardened colors. The stock and forearm are solid with some very minor use and handling marks with the original grip cap and butt plate which is cracked and repaired. It locks up tight with the barrels on face and the lever resting just right of center. The LOP is 14.25 inches with drops of 2" and 2 3/4" at the comb and heel respectively.
