The Mercedes of German Schuetzen Rifles. The bore does have slight pitting, the lands are sharp and for a gun built in 1935 a very nice bore! . I can attest to the accuracy of this rifle having shot it. There are slight flaws, small chip on end of forearm left side up by breech. The thumb hold was at one time broken off. Has been glued back on . Could easlly be filled in on glue line as to be invisable. The metal engraving is just unbelivable ! The wood carving on stock makes you take a step back, just to comprehend the amount of time spent on engravings and carvings. The action locks up like a bank vault. The double set triggers are flawless. Original rear diopter sight with a fiber type disc, removable for shooting open sights also. A work of art ! With the rare doghead with glass eyes on end of forearm. This is by far one of the rarest most ornate German guns out there. Comes with a custom double mold spire tip and ringed bullet made by Werner Wolf,Brass, dies , sight keys, and pusher bullet seater. Though i have found shooting the spire tip bullet at 40-1 fixed with a tight crimp on base band makes this a shooter.
