Description:
This Colt Woodsman Sport Model is a first model with a date of production of 1942. Chambered in .22LR, it has a 4 1/2" barrel. This Woodsman Sports Model's serial number falls in the range of manufactured with a fixed front sight and straight tapered barrel. Rear sight is adjustable.
The original checkered wooden grips are in excellent condition. with no cracks, chips or gouges. Bluing is excellent all the way through. Magazine is the correct two-toned model and is also in excellent condition.
The backstrap reveals the lateral lines indicating that this model Woodsman is designed for high velocity .22 LR.
