Description:
This is a WWII Cattaraugus 225Q Quartermaster fighting knife, blade 6"., 10 1/2" overall, Bowie/utility style blade with leather washer handle. The bright blade is in excellent condition with factory sharpened blade and marked on the ricasso "Cattaraugus 225Q" The guard has light oxidation and has slight movement. The leather stacked washer handle shows nice patina and manual grooving, as normal, to improve grip. The three washer pommel has light oxidation with a waffled end. The correct leather scabbard is in excellent original condition with nice patina, tight stitching and rivets.;
