The XLR5 Chesapeake, unlike its Watefowler brother with a ramped rib, features a conventional flat rib. However, the Chesapeake retains the sporting clays-developed Tribore™ barrel geometry for incredibly good patterns and killing power at distance due to better retained pellet velocity. The Pulse Piston™ gas system eliminates valves and excess springs and components for easier maintenance while maintaining reliability with 3” heavy magnum cartridges down to light 1oz loads. The barrel is chrome-lined from chamber to choke for maximum corrosion resistance in inclement weather. The included Fabarm factory chokes are of premium quality out of the box, particularly the Exis DK choke which is specifically tailored for non-toxic shot.
