This is a true, wartime made 1944 Tula CH PU Sniper. A very difficult and desirable year.
This rifle has no import stamps found, which can be assumed it came through Canada. As seen in the pictures, you will find proper wartime base, mount and 1941 Kharkov scope.
The mount is electropenciled with correct serial number to rifle that match the barrel shank, bolt, buttplate, and floorplate. We have placed a CMP muzzle gauge (.308) to determine the muzzle is at a 1 reading. Bore is extremely shiny, bright, and clean. We are aware that this rifle was not fired since importation.
We find no rust, corrosion or pitting. We also see no evidence of any prior anywhere on the rifle. We do suspect arsenal inspection and refurb at some point inits career.
We have verified that this rifle does not close on a no go and does close on a go gauge, indicating proper head space. Included with the rifle is sling, scope cover, and original scope wrapping paper.
We attempt to photograph and describe all that we see, we always encourage face to face inspection. Appointment necessary. We travel to shows through out central Pa.
