Description:
Serial #89704, .22 LR, 6 ½ inch medium weight barrel with a bright, excellent bore. This is the first series Colt Woodsman semi-automatic pistol manufactured in 1934 and is suitable for high velocity ammunition and is marked on the frame "THE WOODSMAN". It is equipped with adjustable rear target sights. In excellent condition the barrel, frame and slide retain about 85-90% of the original blue finish with holster wear on either side of the barrel and along the grip straps. The checkered walnut grips rate about excellent, solid with some flattening of the points. It comes with one original two tone, 10 round magazine marked "COLT WOODSMAN / CAL 22 LR". Included is a vintage H. H. Heiser leather flap holster from Denver, CO. A great depression era Colt Woodsman Target pistol in a desirable period holster. FFL or C&R
