This beautiful deluxe bolt-action rifle from MAG (Manifattura Armi V. Giani) Italy is a bespoke example of high-end European rifle making, chambered in the versatile and powerful 9.3x62 cartridge. Built on a Dakota Model 70-style action, the rifle features a butter-smooth operation with a 3-position safety and a magnum throughbolt, all meticulously polished and finished by MAG in Italy to maximize both function and elegance. It includes a 3+1 capacity and a crisp, clean trigger pull.
The barrel is 19.5" in length, extending to 22" with the finely machined 3" ported muzzle brake. The action and barrel are finished in a high-luster blue that retains better than 99% of its original finish. Sitting atop the receiver are 30mm Talley quick-detach scope rings mounted on Talley bases, ready for the optic of your choice. We are a Swarovski dealer and can help you find the perfect scope for this rifle! Weight with the rings installed is 7 lb 10.8 oz, and length of pull is 14" to an orange rubber recoil pad.
What truly elevates this rifle into an elite class is its ornamental detail. The bottom metal, pistol grip cap, trigger guard, sling swivels, and magnum throughbolt are all fully engraved in mesmerizing Italian scroll by master engraver Gianmarco Sabatti. Even the underside of the magazine floorplate is engraved, offering a rare level of complete artistic embellishment.
The stock is crafted from exhibition-grade walnut, featuring a slender stalking-style forend with an ebony tip and sharply cut checkering on the grip and forend. The form and figure of the wood match the elegance of the metalwork, making this rifle as much a work of art as a field tool.
This rifle was produced in 2003 and remains in outstanding condition throughout. The bore is bright with sharp rifling, and all mechanical functions operate flawlessly.
