The information that I have says that this rifle was built by well known gunsmith Don Kammerer of Kendallville, IN, but is not marked as such. Mr. Kammerer was a regular at Friendship, both as a builder and a competitor. Another claim to fame is that he built the prototype for the CVA Mountain Rifle! This is a sleek Southern Mountain Rifle with a .36 GR DOUGLAS barrel 36.25 long. Twist looks to be around 1:70ish. Appears unfired with a bright and shiny bore. The Tiger Maple stock has some nice figure. LOP is 13.25. Single trigger with adjustable DEAN MITTON lock. Rifle weighs about 7.14 lbs. I have read that Mr. Kammerer's rifles do not come up for sale very often. $950 + Shipping.
